I only had these empty for about a month, but I already love them more than anything else I've used. Hoover Platinum Bagged UH30010COM really well designed. I like the bumper on the edge of the vacuum to protect furniture and walls. I can update this review later with more information. However, I just wanted to put five stars to show my satisfaction with the purchase.
In terms of emission of noise, I measured the sound level using a sound level meter positioned close to my ear. The column yielded 90 and 94 dB low at the top. The smaller container produces 84 dB. The recommended maximum permissible exposure to 85 dB is 8 hours, 4 hours is 90 dB and 95 dB is 2 hours. The vacuum does not sound particularly strong compared to other voids. However, it might be a good idea to wear ear plugs if you plan to do extensive amounts of aspiration.
